Job Details

  • Conducts clinical interview to gather, analyze and evaluate for potential admissions, including telehealth assessments.
  • Responds to inquiries from individuals or family members seeking mental health care or information about mental health-related services.
  • Prepares diagnoses, treatment recommendations and referrals based on physician orders.
  • Verifies insurance and obtains prior authorization based on payor requirements.
  • Documents calls, related admission information and reviews all paperwork to ensure adherence to hospital and regulatory policies.
  • May provide crisis counseling on an as-needed basis.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Behavioral Health or related field
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in state of work
