EBP (Evidence-Based Practice) Fellowship Program
Program Overview

Research and evidence-based practice is an integral part of our Mission and professional practice at SSM Health. Team members recognize and embrace the professional obligation to provide care that is based in best evidence. EBP Fellows will serve as mentors for their project teams through project implementation. Upon completion of the EBP Fellowship Program, EBP Fellows will continue to serve as EBP Mentors and Champions within their home sites. Graduates will be eligible to sit for the EBP-C Certification Exam.

The first EBP Fellowship Cohort at SSM Health began January 2023. The 15-month graduate level program consists of 15 EBP Fellows supported by PhD/DNP prepared mentors working on various EBP projects related to organizational strategic and KPI goals. SSM Health’s EBP Fellowship Program has recently been recognized by The Helene Fuld Health Trust National Institute for EBP in Nursing and Healthcare at The Ohio State University.
